She’s been referred to in France as the “choreographer of the stars”. Marion Motin toured as a dancer with Madonna before choreographing videos for Dua Lipa, Stromae, and Christine and the Queens. Her latest work, “The Last Call”, showing at Paris’s historic Palais Garnier, is a personal piece about losing her father. Motin says no matter how heavy the topic, she always strives to leave the audience with joy and energy. She told us about getting inspiration from surfing, collaborating with Stromae and why she prefers hip-hop to ballet.
